Pathogenesis: HPV infects squamous epithelial cells through breaks
in skin, e.g. HPV stimulates cell growth by inhibiting suppressor proteins
and cause outgrowth of epidermis (wart).
Complications: HPV-16 and 18 integrate into cell DNA, causing
transformation/cancer with koilocytes
